  • Maintain a bank balance of USD 100,000 under the applicant's name for 12 months.


2. Wealthy Pensioners

  • Eligibility

  • Retirees aged 50 years and above.

  • Minimum annual unearned or passive income of USD 80,000.

  • Alternatively, make additional investments of USD 250,000 in Thai government bonds, Thai companies, or Thai property.

  • Maintain health insurance of USD 50,000 coverage or equivalent social security benefits.

  • Maintain a bank balance of USD 100,000 under the applicant's name for 12 months.


3. Work-from-Thailand Professionals

  • Eligibility

  • Minimum average personal income of USD 80,000 annually for the past two years.

  • Employment contract with a public company listed on a stock exchange or a private company operating for at least 3 years with a minimum combined revenue of USD 150 million over the last 3 years.

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the past 10 years.

  • Health insurance of USD 50,000 coverage or equivalent social security benefits.

  • Maintain a bank balance of USD 100,000 under the applicant's name for 12 months.


4. Highly Skilled Professionals

  • Eligibility

  • Minimum average personal income of USD 80,000 annually for the past two years.

  • Employment in targeted industries such as higher education, research centers, specialized training institutions, or Thai government agencies.

  • Proof of expertise in specified fields or a master's degree or higher in sciences and technology.

  • Health insurance of USD 50,000 coverage or equivalent social security benefits.

  • Maintain a bank balance of USD 100,000 under the applicant's name for 12 months.


Spouses and Dependents

  • Eligibility

  • Spouses and children under 20 years old can apply as dependents.

  • Each dependent must have health insurance of USD 50,000 coverage or equivalent social security benefits.

  • Maintain a bank balance of USD 25,000 per dependent under the applicant's or dependent's name for 12 months.

  • Dependents must be legal spouses or children of the LTR Visa holder.


Application and Requirements

  • Applicants must meet specific financial, investment, income, and health insurance requirements depending on the visa type.

  • Documentation includes proof of income, investments, health insurance, and a clean criminal record.

  • Applications can be submitted at Thai embassies or consulates abroad or within Thailand.
